Mosaïque évoquant le réseau mycorhizien qui vit sous la surface du sol forestier. Ce réseau est le résultat de l'association symbiotique entre des champignons et des racines d’arbres, permettant le partage d’éléments tels que le carbone, l’azote et le phosphore. L’œuvre est une représentation des filaments mycorhiziens de la Chanterelle, tirée d’une image captée au microscope et grossie des milliers de fois.
Mosaic evoking the mycorrhizal network living under the forest floor. This network is the result of the symbiotic connection between mushrooms and tree roots, allowing the sharing of carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorous. The work represents the mycorrhizal filaments of the Chanterelle mushroom photographed under a microscope and enlarged thousands of times.
